WHAT YOU CAN SEE ON THE COMPUTER KEYBOARD

When you look at the computer system, you will identify the keyboard, it that flat board that has keys arranged on it. ‘A 3 years old user of the computer, can say it  is the mouth of the computer’; the mouth is used for eating, ’maybe because little children likes food a lot’. The keyboard is used for sending information into the computer. Before information can be seen on the monitor it must be sent through the Keyboard. The keyboard is not just an idle part’

All the keys found on the keyboard are arranged on a fixed location on that keyboard; even when they are compared to other keyboards, the keys are in the same places as other keys except few keys that may be in different places.

The keyboard has different group of keys arranged on it, these group of keys on the keyboard. The arrangement of the keys forms the features of the computer keyboard. They include the  following:

            Number keys                  Alphabet keys           Special keys          

            Function keys                 Cursor key            Screen Editing key

The keyboard found on the LAPTOPis the same as the keyboard found on a computer that is not a LAPTOP (desktop computers).

There are keypads designed on other devices which are not regular computer keyboard. As we also have it on the mobile devices.

OTHER PARTS OF COMPUTER

The computer is basically made up of 3 Main Parts. The computer is like every family, with extended family whom they get along with. The computer has other parts that can be connected to it and they will work together.

These parts cannot work alone unless they are connected to the computer system. The moment they are connected to the computer, these other parts can now work. The other parts of the computer can also work with electricity and as well as get connected to the computer. Some of these parts include the following: 

    Scanner           Projector          Printer       
    UPS                  Mouse             Speaker….

     

The other computer parts when they are connected to the computer, 
they will start performing the work they are designed and invented for. 
Some of the other parts used  with the computer include:

-The Projector: It display information for many people to see

-The Speaker: that gives out sound in the computer system

-The Scanner: send printed information into the computer system

-The Microphone: is use for talking so that people can hear

-The Mouse: is use for clicking, pointing item on the screen

Consider how useful the other parts of the computer may be used for:

-When you speak into a 'phone’, your voice is picked 
 up by a tiny Microphone.

-The tiny thing that pick your voice in 'phone is Mouth piece.

-When you speak into a 'phone, your voice is heard 
by a receiver with Loudspeaker.

-The tiny thing that brings your voice in to the ear of the receiver 
 is ear piece.

-Jessica is chatting with her friend on a 'phone. Jessica can hear 
her friend’s voice.

This is because the 'phone’ gives out sound.

-Jojo’s Mum is using herlaptop. The laptop stores information 
on a hard drive.

-Lots of 'phones and computers have a camera to take pictures.
