Today it has been discovered that self-discovery is one of the ways a learner can Gain or Advance in Learning Concepts and ideas that will have a long and lasting effect on them in their pathway of knowledge acquisition.
Educators therefore have carved an avenues to it, by giving Young Minds in schools loads of ‘take away’ Home Work (Assignment), which I referred to as ‘School Extension at Home’ which is done in the confines and comfort of their homes, without Rigorous Task, Close Monitoring, Rivalry and undue Competition from peers.
I think it is not bad to keep the Young Minds Academic work tone down, after a long day of navigating from one subject to another, then coping to comprehend the new concepts presented by each discipline. This will give them a leeway, allowing their brains to relax, getting ready for the Academic Chore the next day, if it is not a Weekend.
However, the element of Academic Respite, as compared to what is obtainable during the school hours, give Young Minds the liberty to explore the world of Technology! “Google Apps” Playing a lot roles engaging the attention of indiscipline children.
Furthermore, a typical Young Mind could develop great ability in the use of GOOGLE Search Engine to find way out for unknown task. How fascinating will it be for such child to show the understanding and Application of ICT Concepts! And be able to chart unknown territory.
