However the response of a child gives whether ‘Positive or Negative’ , ‘Cold or Hot’….to an adult over a given Instruction to do a thing, Direction to go through in getting somewhere, Decision making process of achieving a given task…
Be rest assure that there is an underlying craving in the mind of that little one “To be part of the big picture” of what the adult is striving to do, but it is usually greeted by a form of 'hesitance and or resistance' in the thought process of the Young Mind, which is easily displayed by an immediate negative response. I call this a ‘moment of inertia’!
Every Young Mind have a high sense of wanting to do’, when they discover the need of getting things done. Although some of them may not know how to do, when allowed to settle down to perform a particular task alone. Others might find it difficult getting that task done is a suitable way. Moreover, they simply want to settle an account in their curious minds on they can be included in the big picture of getting things done that requires solution.
Have you ever heard a child ask you “What about me?” They want to be part of the big picture. They want to be part of the team of achieving something! This create a platform for them becoming resourceful in the future.
