Life is all about race’, we may be ‘chasing a thing’or other times something else chasing us! I will encourage ‘we are the one chasing something’, which indicates, that we are prepared and coordinated. It takes a coordinated lifestyle to chase a thing.
As we raise young minds in Family set up and Environments where we find ourselves, as Parents, Guardians, and General Stakeholders in the formative years of Young Minds, it is expedient we are able to properly give them a good foundation in life, so they can build upon it, knowing that uncertain future beckons, there will be various challenges.
The presence of numerous Applications in Technology and Transformational Information Age, triggers a lot stimulations. we want to give our Kids Gadgets! Making ICT Gadgets available for children, without the them having the grasp of the Fundamental Concept of Technology, this possibly could mean ‘Jumping the Gun’ in the journey of ICT Professionalism.
ICT Gadgets are very good, it keeps young restless minds entertained, tamed their spontaneous response to things, and also help in channeling their energy focused! But we should NOT get so carried away because this has a way of leaving them out of the real deal, ‘Understanding the ICT concepts’. Many grown ups have found themselves in situations where they used ICT Gadgets flawlessly but with little or no knowledge of the basic concepts.
That is reason we must harmonise the use of ICT Gadgets with the proper knowledge of the basic concepts of Technology. Furthermore, this prepare them as formidable player in future technology inventor and Innovators; Instead of being spectators they are at the center stage as contenders, others are willing to pay for their services, watch them use their innovative abilities and skills being displayed on larger screened. The gains are countless!
